As the 30th anniversary of North Texas Association of Philippine Physician's approaches, I am honored and privileged to be the incoming president for 2009-2010.
As Filipino physicians in our community, NTAPP allows us to not only show the North Texas medical community our accomplishments through our work, but most importantly, our accomplishments of service we provide locally and globally.
To celebrate NTAPP and its 30 year milestone, myself along with the NTAPP board of directors will be hosting a "Cowboy Gala" October 17, 2009 at Eddie Dean's Ranch in Dallas, TX. The gala will include induction of 2009-2010 officers, reflection of past medical missions, recognition of past presidents, fundraising/silent auction for future medical missions, and of course, dinner, dancing, and show to celebrate this time!
As we reflect NTAPP's accomplishments through the many years of service, I feel humbled to carry on the tradtion of charity through our medical missions in our beloved country of the Philippines, locally in DFW and globally, donations for scholarships for medical students in the Philippines, and donations to Gawad Kalinga and Bantay Bata!
Get ready for a great year!
